Southwest Home Health Care, a Medicare based Home Health Care agency is seeking a motivated, Business Development Representative for the Austin, Texas areaJob DescriptionSouthwest Home Health Care is currently recruiting a full-time Community Liaison to actively market out established home health agency to hospitals and clinicians in the greater Austin area. The community liaison will be the primary contact to build and maintain relationships with hospitals, nurses, physicians, and other health care specialist. The liaison will also be responsible for marketing and coordinating community resources and educating patients by maintaining good communication abilities. Southwest Home Health Care is a growing healthcare company with offices in Austin, Dallas, and Houston. Mission StatementResponsible for developing and maintaing favorable relationships with new and existing clients in order to increase referral flow, openings and revenue.Key Success Factors- Close a min of twenty Medicare Starts of Care a month after 1st 6 mons.- Conduct in person contacts with prospective clients each week.- Exhibit a passion for the home health care sector.Responsibilities- Achieve the Medicare Starts of Care goals as set by the Regional Development Director necessary to support company objectives.- Effectively cultivate new business opportunities.- Consistenly meet sales call objectives as established by the Regional Development Director. - Analyze cause of customer service issues, communicate those issues to the Regional Development Director and Agency Administrator as necessary and assist in developing solutions to problems.- Assist the Regional Development Director in orientation and mentoring of other staff related to business growth.- Actively participate in agencys business growth meetings, strategic planning meetings, company in-services and required activities as determined by the Regional Development Director.- Effectively manage company resources regarding expenses and time management.- Ensure that the company is represented professionally in the local medical community where the agency is located.- Ensure that the company policies and procedures are followed. - Offer new suggestions to improve operation andor improve corporate operations.- Maintain confidentiality on all patients as prescribed by Agencys policy and procedure.- Represent the Agency at all times in a professional and loyal manner. Position qualifications- A min of 3 yrs salesbusiness development background.- A min of 2yrs health care background, preferably in the home health sector.- Knowledge of the home health industry and Medicare guidelines for Home Health is a plus.- Knowledge of McKesson is preferred.- Comfortable initiating cold calls to perspective clients.- Demonstrated integrity, sincerity and initiative.- Persistent determination and positive attitude with commitment to excellence.- Exceptional listening, verbal and written skills.- Self-starter and requires minimal amount of direction.- Demonstrated professional conduct towards visitors, clients, fellow employees, and management staff.- Expertise to work in a challenging environment.- Professional appearance, consistant with health care industry standards for executive management personnel and complies with the companys dress code. - Proven expertise to maintain confidentiality on all patients as prescribed by Agencys policy and procedure.Educational Qualifications- The desired applicant will possess a college diploma with study emphasis on communications, public relations, or related position or equivalent background.Reply to post or fax resume to [removed phone].
